This armchair is dedicated to the betrayal. Everyone in life has been betrayed, the only difference is between the one who accept it and get over it, and the ones who don't. I'm not saying that people who "accept"  it are stupid or viceversa, but sure they are cuckold. Cuckolded is not the one who has been betrayed, but the one who doesn't do anything about it. Looking closely at the painting, there are different elements that represent the betrayal: a third party, the worm, the horns and a heart that is going away.
